Timeless Teachings in a Changing World
Learning Theories have evolved around the developments of professionals seeking to integrate technologies based on two types of theoretical foundations, planning models, and strategies. To gain a greater understanding of the differences of these two methodical foundations, we may use the metaphor of a test, in fact, a pre-test and post-test. With the pretest, there is a survey of knowledge for which you have no understanding but just an evaluation, with the post-test, you understand the content and attempt to benefit from the knowledge that you have constructed from your experiences. The pre-test is like the Directed Theories, planning models, and strategies because it is based on examination of various existing knowledge that you may or may not have experienced. However, the post-test is like the Constructivist Theories, planning models and strategies.
